Distinguished African leaders and dignitaries are set to converge on London for the Triangle Face of Africa Leadership Award, a prestigious event celebrating excellence in leadership and the enduring legacy of African heritage.
Organised by Triangle News International, the award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at noon within the prestigious RHB 300 Hall of Goldsmiths, University of London, United Kingdom.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Triangle, Otunba Olufemi Salako, the award aims to honour visionary individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and service across the African continent. “This is about celebrating the African heritage, spotlighting those who inspire and transform communities through leadership,” the CEO stated.
Among the high-profile recipients expected are the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Wole Olanipekun, Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and Seyi Tinubu.
Also listed are the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, and his Ondo State counterpart, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Minister of Youth, Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief Corporate Communications Officer (CCCO), Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Femi Soneye, the Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Eteng Jonah Williams, alongside other notable figures from politics, business, and civil society.
