The Surulere Secondary School Old Students Association (SSSOSA) has promised to provide more infrastructures in their alma mater, as it celebrates its 41st anniversary from November 25-27, 2021.

President of the association, Prof. Olusegun Okunnu, who gave credit to the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande, who as Governor of Lagos State, established the school as a way of bridging the gap in education and bringing it closer to the people, said the association was committed to providing infrastructures and ensure that the school competes favourably with others.

He said part of current effort to actualise the dream of the association include providing projects and programmes focused on growth of students and improvement of the structures in the school to improve learning.

He said: “We are currently working on our mentorship programme, which we intend to launch in the first quarter of the coming year.

“We intend to build a library and computer centre at the location of the former Principal’s office (Mr. Ogunyemi’s original building) in remembrance of him. We will develop a road to the achievement of our last goal.”
