OMEP 2022: Educators to explore 21st century childhood education

The annual three-day Continuous Development Training for Educators, at the behest of the Organization Mondiale Poure I’Education Prescolaire (OMEP) that is the World Organization for Early Childhood Education, Lagos State Chapter, holds from August 24 to 26, 2022, at Chrisland Primary School Hall, 28 Opebi Road, Awosika Bus Stop, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

The annual three-day Continuous Development Training for Educators, at the behest of the Organization Mondiale Poure I’Education Prescolaire (OMEP) that is the World Organization for Early Childhood Education, Lagos State Chapter, holds from August 24 to 26, 2022, at Chrisland Primary School Hall, 28 Opebi Road, Awosika Bus Stop, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

At the training, with the theme, “Early Childhood Education in the 21st Century: Inspire, Explore and Create,” the state Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, will deliver the keynote address, while the Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, Wahab Alawiye-King would be the special guest.

The President of OMEP Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter), Mrs. Bola Falore, in a statement, said that the training would serve as platform for educators to learn and acquire new skills on early childhood education, and also gain the professional knowledge required to progress in their careers.

“The training will cover some interesting and insightful topics such as Exploring 21st Century Skills in the Early Childhood Education, and Primary Through Reflective Practices; Classroom Assessment Techniques in Early Childhood, and Primary Education Perspective and Crisis Management in Modern School Environment.

The statement called on interested persons to attend the teacher professional development course to boost their career in the education industry, and ultimately “become stand-out educators.”
