Ondo, BEDEC reach agreement to end blackout in communities

To end the blackout being experienced in some local councils in the Southern Senatorial District and Idanre in the Central Senatorial District of Ondo State, the state government has reached an agreement with the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDEC), to reconnect the communities to the national grid.

The State Commissioner for Information, Kayode Akinmade, briefing journalits in Akure, said the governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko had intervened in the faceoff between residents of the communities and the distribution company.
