The Ondo State Chapter of Social Democratic Party (SDP) has described the latest publication alleging its National Chairman, Chief Olu Falae, of another N100 million fraud, as falsehood and a further attempt to soil his integrity.

A statement issued and signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Remi Olayiwola in Akure yesterday, affirmed that no money was transferred into his (Falae) company’s account, reiterating that the only money received by the party and its chairman was transferred by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) through Chief Tony Anenih, the former Chairman, Board of Trustees.

He stated that Chief Anenih had long confirmed that the transaction was based on a written inter-party agreement, which existed between the two parties before the last presidential election.

He said: “The EFCC at one point said that the N100 million was from Dasuki, a lie which has now been effectively debunked. Now, they are claiming that the money was from a company known as Joint Trust Dimension Nigeria Limited, an entity totally unknown to Chief Falae and SDP.”

The party chieftain described the latest publication as a mischievous plot to further embarrass Falae and the SDP.
