Osimhen bags brace against Kayserispor

Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen scored twice in his club’s 5-1 whitewash of Kayserispor on Sunday.

His second goal came in the 71st minute after he floated the ball past the on-rushing goalkeeper to increase his goal tally to 12 goals and 5 assists in 15 games for Gala in all competitions.

Osimhen has been a massive hit for Galatasaray since his arrival, amassing an impressive record of 10 goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.

PSG’s initial interest in Osimhen during the summer failed to materialise, but recent performances may have convinced them to reconsider their pursuit

According to RMC Sport, PSG has contacted the forward for a potential transfer in January. However, any deal is expected to face significant hurdles.

One of them might be PSG head coach Luis Enrique himself, who was hesitant about signing Osimhen during the summer.

Additionally, to finalise a transfer, PSG would need to navigate a three-way negotiation involving Napoli, Galatasaray, and the player.
