Osinbajo, Fashola for Lagos Bar dinner

VICE President Yemi Osinbajo and Minister for Power, Housing and Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN are amongst dignitaries expected at the 2015 annual dinner of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch.

Both government functionaries, who are also distinguished members of the profession, will join other colleagues at the annual celebration of the event slated to hold today at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Lagos.

Chairperson of the Bar Dinner Committee, Mr. Adedapo Tunde-Olowu stated that the event is part of the year-end tradition of the Bar to foster unity amongst its members as well as honour those who have distinguished themselves in their fields of practice and who continue to make valuable contributions to the legal profession in Nigeria.

This year, the branch will honour lawyers recently conferred with the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
He added that in line with its tradition, the branch would also hold a raffle draw, where a long list of prizes would be won.
