Oyebanji appoints Tunji Olowolafe as EKSU chancellor
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has appointed Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, a prominent businessman and philanthropist, as the new Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU) in Ado-Ekiti.
Oyebanji’s media aide, Yinka Oyebode, said in a statement that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Olowolafe, a native of Are-Ekiti in Ekiti State, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He holds a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Ilorin and initially practiced medicine before transitioning to business,Oyebode said.
Prior to this appointment, Olowolafe served as a member of the Ekiti State COVID-19 Resource Mobilisation Committee. He is also the founder of Generic Product Limited (established in 1996) and the chairman and managing director of Deux Investment Limited.
