Oyedepo predicts Nigeria’s emergence as world power
THE Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, a.k.a. Winners Chapel, Dr. David Oyedepo has predicted that Nigeria would emerge as world power and an enviable giant among the powerful nations globally.
Oyedepo spoke during the 4-Day Shiloh service that ended yesterday morning with the theme: “From Glory to Glory,” where he also unveiled the new largest church building in the world to over 1.86 million viewers on the internet.
The event was the 17th edition of the annual convention of the church, where 3, 000 delegates from 55 countries of the world went for spiritual empowerment at the international headquarters of the church at the Faith Tabernacle, Km 10, Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State.
He declared that every revival moves the destiny of the nation that hosts it because every move of God moves the nation forward to enviable heights, emphasizing that “wherever revival goes, goes civilization. Every country that accommodates a revival changes level.”
According to him: “God told me I would make you see Africa listed among the world powers. Just as it is happening in my life, the same way God will move Africa to limelight.
“I know in my lifetime we shall be enlisted among the world powers. Nigeria will become one of the most peaceful nations in the world”.
He urged the Black people not to let their colour devastate their faith saying, “Black is not synonymous with lack. There is nothing wrong with your colour. Africa is the next surprise to the entire world.”
While thanking God for the grandeur of the Faith Tabernacle, an edifice and 50, 000 capacity church to emerge the largest in the world with an overflow capacity of about 250, 000 worshippers outside, the Bishop unveiled a new edifice called “Faith Theatre,” with 100, 000 capacity.
Faith Theatre, according to Oyedepo, had its foundation laid spiritually yesterday and would be delivered soon, revealing that it will occupy over 1000 acres of land with adequate facilities for subsequent Shiloh programmes, which will provide spaces for all worshippers from the different states of the nation.
The Bishop dazzled the congregation through the automated view of the Mission Towers Worship Bowl with 100, 000 seaters, children church that houses 10, 000 kids, 3000 capacity WOFBI centre , exotic four concourse, baptistery, Dominion Bookstore, rotating altar, among others.
He announced the next Shiloh programme for December 6-10, 2016, and urged members to be ready for the revival that is already taking place across Nigeria, declaring that God is raising giants in science, medicine, industry, commerce and all human endeavours to change the nation, Africa and the world at large.
