Oyo PDP Suspends Akinjide, Adeseun, Others
FOLLOWING the dismal performance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presidential and governorship elections in Oyo State, the party leadership in the state yesterday suspended the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),
Jumoke Akinjide; senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Ayo Adeseun and the Chief of Staff to former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, Saka Balogun, among others for anti-party activities.
Other politicians affected by the decision include Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha from Iseyin Local Government and Hon. Moroof Akinwande from Oyo, with the party dissociating itself from them and urging the appropriate quarters not to recognise or accord them respect due to the leaders of the PDP in the state
