Peter Umechiedo needs N7.5m for kidney transplant

Umechiedo Chukwuebuka Peter is 20 years old. He was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure in March 26 and he has been undergoing haemodialysis twice or thrice daily, according to a medical report from Chinyelugo Specialist Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State,.

The report signed by Dr. Eze H.T., read: “ Peter spends between N80,000-N100,000 a week on haemodialysis. He needs between N7.5 million and N10 million to carry out a successful kidney transplant with post-transplant drugs that will last him for a year.”

“ In view of the foregoing, it is strongly advised he goes for kidney transplant,” the statement read.
