Plateau governor sacks five commissioners

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has sacked five commissioners from his cabinet.

They are Commissioner for Budget Chrysanthus Dawam (Quaan Pan), Commissioner for Youths and Sports Noel Nkup (Shendam), Commissioner for Tourism Jamila Tukur (Quaan Pan), Commissioner for Science and Technology Obed Goselle (Langtang South), and Commissioner for Commerce(Bassa).

They have been replaced by Joy Ramnap former Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Dr Sunday Alex Bassa; Slyvanus Dongtoe, Shendam; Dr Nicolas Bamnong, Quaan Pan and Cornelius Doeyok from Quaan Pan.

The Secretary to the State Government, Samuel Jatau, made this known, during a press briefing at Government House, Little Rayfield in Jos.

No reason was given for their removal and replacement.
