Delta State police command, yesterday announced the arrest of a four-man gang of kidnappers, whose victim was forced to disclose the pin number of his Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) card, with which they withdrew his money.

Spokesperson for the command, Celestina Kalu, who disclosed this in Asaba, explained that the victim, James Otobo of Okpanam Road Asaba, had on Saturday, reported to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) that the suspects had on April 1, lured him to the NNPC filling station, Ibusa, from where he was forcefully taken to the kidnappers den in the bush.

The victim narrated that the suspected kidnappers took his ATM card and forcefully obtained the pin number from him, which they took to the bank to withdraw the sum of N116, 000 from his account.

Otobo added that the suspect also collected his personal effects before releasing him.
