The Port Harcourt Refinery, shut down two months ago over a major equipment failure, may resume production next week. It was gathered that the facility’s boiler got severely damaged thus crippling production activities.

Prior to the development, the refinery, with an installed capacity of 210,000 barrels of crude oil per day, was operating at an average of 60 per cent, churning out 126,000bpd.
