Powerful Demon Inhabits Enugu Governor’s Lodge, Says Cleric
Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province of the Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma yesterday in Agbani, Enugu State alluded to the possibility of a powerful demon dwelling at the Enugu State government lodge.
Apparently making reference to former governors who had parted ways with their wives after settling in at the lodge, Chukwuma stated that all efforts should be made to break the jinx. He warned
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi not to relocate to the lodge unless the situation was contained.
He spoke at the burial ceremony of former First Lady of Enugu State, Nnenna Agnes Nnamani at Ojiagu, Agbani, Nkanu West Council of the State.
The event was attended by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, former Information Minister, Nnia Nwodo, former Deputy Governors, Okey Itanyi and Sunday Onyebuchi, and many other politicians in the State.
In his sermon, Chukwuma said plans should be made to demolish the government house or “we chase the demon away.”
Nnenna was the wife of former Enugu Governor, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani. Archbishop Chukwuma, who presided over the burial service attended by many other Bishops and priests, said the demon was targeting the Governors and their wives.
He observed that Ugwuanyi and the wife loved themselves so much and that once they moved into the Government House lodge, “the demon would destabilize them. They will start quarreling to the point that they may be forced to part ways. So there is need to dislodge this demon before you settle into the place and I urge you to please adhere to this in the interest of your family. Almost all former Enugu Governors in the State separated from their wives before the end of their tenures.
