Speaking about his journey towards championing communication physics which commenced fully during his Master degree at the University of Uyo and Doctoral research programme at the University of Benin. His master degree thesis was devoted to solving near-far effect problems in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) Systems. By using precoded simulation based user-interface technique, he introduce an innovative adaptive power control technique that allows mobile stations to transmit signals and adjust their transmit power to ensure the that communication links are not forced into outage over the planned coverage range.
During his doctorate degree research, he championed and worked on cellular networks performance optimsation as a means of improving the planning, deployment and management of existing commercial cellular communication networks in South-South Nigeria. Thereafter, he proceeded to the Department of Electronics Engineering, University of Kwazulu-Natal South Africa, where he worked as postdoctoral researcher from 2016 to 2018.
During his time as a post-doctoral researcher, he made significant contributions to the field of cellular communication networks. His research focused on improving the efficiency and performance of existing operational cellular communication networks, as well as exploring new technologies and techniques to enhance communication capabilities of such networks across rural, suburban and Urban terrains.
