Chairman , Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Arase, has declared that admission into the Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil, Kano would strictly be on merit. He warned that admission racketeering would be severely dealt with.
The erstwhile Inspector General of Police (IGP)sounded the warning yesterday in the ancient city, while observing screening of candidates for the 35th Regular Course.
Arase, who said the force was learning from past mistakes, promised that PSC would ensure that the entire process is credible.While confirming existence of a cybercrime department in the police, the Edo native applauded the commandant and his team for undertaking a seamless exercise that threw up over 1,500 candidates raring to undergo credentials, physical feature screening, Computer Based Test (CBT), medical examination and fitness route.
