Raji-Mustapha condoles Kwara over boat mishap

The Director General, National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha, has condoled with the Kwara State government over the boat mishap that claimed about 100 lives.

The boat misadventure took place in Pategi, Kwara state.

In his condolence letter to the KWara State Governor, AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq, on behalf of the Centre, Dr Raji-Mustapha described the sad event as unfortunate and colossal.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of a boat accident that occurred at my State, Egbu village in Patigi, Kwara State, which claimed the lives of over 100 people.

“The death of a loved one is usually very painful but death of over hundred citizens who undertook a journey to celebrate as wedding guests of their loved ones made the tragic incident more heart wrenching.

Adding: “On behalf of the Management and Staff of National Productivity Centre, I sympathize with my people and the immediate families of victims of the boat disaster.

“I wish my brother and friend, His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq and all our people in Kwara State, peace, comfort and lots of love at this time of our sorrow.”
