As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to mark the International Day of the Girl Child, state governments have been called upon to offer free medical, antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services for women and children.
Multiple award-winning stand-up comedian and wellness advocate, Anita Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin), stated this in Abuja at her official unveiling as brand ambassador of PURNA Gummies Nigeria.
The Guardian reports that the event featured the launch of Mama Bear Gummies, a new health supplement aimed at improving the well-being of pregnant and nursing mothers.
According to the actor and influencer, access to quality healthcare should not be a privilege but a fundamental right for every woman and child, regardless of their socio-economic status.
