The Rivers State Government has promised to create 3000 jobs for medical professionals resident in the state.

The state governor, Nyesom Wike, gave the assurance after inspecting facilities at the Integrated Medical Industries (IMI), a state-owned firm established by the immediate past administration.

According to him, “I am satisfied that this project will create 3000 direct and indirect jobs in the state. We shall take appropriate measures to complete the company, which will be the biggest in the country.”
