Rockview Hotel visits Suleja Prison, donates to inmates
THE Management of Rockview Hotel recently visited the inmates of Suleja Prison, Niger State as part of its social corporate responsibility.
The second in Command of Suleja Prison, Agu Abigail Uzoma, who welcomed the group on behalf of the Deputy Comptroller of Prison, said: ‘’The inmates have been alleged and labelled for something bad, but in this Christmas season, we should strive to be labelled for something good’’.
Consequently, an awaiting trial inmate, George David, who has been there for seven months, for alleged forgery, said he has learnt the prison is a place for correction and reformation.
But, Amarachi Eneh, another inmate, who has been in the prison for the past three years because her boyfriend snatched a car, hopes someday soon, justice would get to her.
The Public Relations Officer, Rockview Hotel, Amaka Ekeh said, “Rockview Hotel will continue with this humanitarian service, an act of giving back to the society.”
