SANEF appoints Uzoebo Managing Director
Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities (SANEF) Ltd. has appointed Mrs Uche Uzoebo as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 2025.
According to a statement on Monday, Uzoebo succeeds Mrs Ronke Kuye, the pioneer CEO. Kuye grew the company significantly, deepening financial inclusion and agent banking in Nigeria.
Uzoebo has over two decades of experience in banking and financial services. She is a thought leader and advocate for financial literacy, inclusive finance, women’s empowerment and breaking economic barriers.
She is a renowned expert in financial inclusion, digital transformation and economic empowerment. Her work has significantly influenced Nigeria’s financial landscape.
Uzoebo is also a certified Product Manager and a Licensed National Business Development Service Provider (BDSP). She is a member of several financial organisations.
These include the Association of International Product Marketing & Management, Global Women in Management, and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), among others.
Before her appointment, she was the Chief Distribution and Stakeholder Engagement Officer of SANEF Ltd. She played a key role in business expansion and strategic initiatives.
She led initiatives from the firm’s inception, helping SANEF achieve its core objectives through various banking products and services across Nigeria.
As Chief Distribution and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, she worked with regulators, banks, financial service providers, government agencies and digital financial service firms.
Uzoebo has spearheaded strategic projects focused on expanding economic inclusion. She has also worked diligently to empower women as a gender specialist.
She has contributed to published works and spoken at fintech and finance conferences, advocating financial inclusion and digital payment solutions in Nigeria.
Her expertise extends to policy development and strategic management. She continues to influence economic and financial strategies at national and international levels.
SANEF serves as a key enabler in Nigeria’s financial inclusion ecosystem. It collaborates with stakeholders to expand access to financial services nationwide.
