Sanwo-Olu mourns ex-HoS Ajose’s death

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Chief Akinsanya Ajose, a former Head of Service and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in the state.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu described Ajose as a seasoned administrator, a passionate leader, and a respected politician who devoted his life to serving his people in Badagry, the APC, and Lagos State.
”The passing of Chief Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, former Head of Service and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), is a significant loss for Lagos State and especially for our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), where he was a pivotal leader in Badagry,” he said
Sanwo-Olu described the death of the APC stalwart as a significant loss to the state and APC.
He highlighted Ajose’s unique role as a retired public servant and a key mobiliser within the APC.
He then extended his condolences to the GAC members, APC leaders, and party members across Lagos State, especially in the Badagry Division, noting that Ajose’s passing has created a void in the party.
‘My condolences to the GAC members, APC leaders, and all who knew him, particularly in Badagry. Chief Ajose’s absence leaves a void in our party. I pray for his soul and the strength of his family and friends during this difficult time,” Sanwo-Olu said
Àjọṣe was, until his death, the Deputy Chairman of the APC in Lagos. He passed away on Wednesday at the age of 78 after a brief illness.
