Sarumi, Agagu to speak at Lions symposium on Tuesday

Chairperson, Women Symposium of Lions Club, Lion Kemi Sarumi, and wife of former Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olufunke Agagu will be delivering keynote lectures on “The Roles Of Women In Nation Building In Nigeria,” at a symposium organised by International Association Of Lions Clubs, District 404B-2 Nigeria. The lecture is slated for Tuesday, at Our Saviour’s Church Hall, Tafawa Balewa Square, behind Lagos House, Lagos.

According to a release signed by founder, Handicapped Education Foundation, Aramide Tola Noibi, the founder, Relate African Organisation, Dr. Bridget Itsueli and Constitutional Area Speaker, New Voices for English West African Countries, Lion Lynda Odu Okpeseyi, will also speak at the symposium, slated for 10:30am.

Meanwhile, in commemoration of the 2019 International Women Day, the club held a symposium at the Lagos State Government Technical College, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidigbi, Ikeja.

where Sanitary Pads and Deodorants were donated to students of the college, to educate them on the true essence of hygiene and healthy living.

The event was presided over by the District 404B-2 Governor, Lion Dupe Dada, who led the Lion District 404B-2 Team. The lecture was delivered by the Region 2 Chairperson, Lion Esther Benson.
