School girl narrates how grandma was killed
An 18 years old secondary school girl simply identified as Joy yesterday narrated how her grandmother Mrs. Clara Uwaifo, 65, a retired headmistress was shot dead by a neighbour whose family has been at loggerheads with the deceased.
Joy said: “At about 3p.m when my friend and I entered my street returning from school, I sighted my grandmother walking opposite my direction, she was holding a bag and walking towards our house with the assailant following her closely. As I ran to assist her take the bag inside, I accidentally hit my foot against a stone.
“Then my grandmother was approaching the gate, suddenly, I saw the assailant who was wearing blue jeans trouser and a light milk shirt raised his shirt, brought out a short gun and shot my grandmother on the back and ran away.
“My grandmother fell down, I assisted her shouting mama stand up!, mama stand up! Mama looked at me, shook her head, I begged my grandmother not to die.
“A brother now rushed out from our house, joined me and my friend to carry her in Keke NAPEP (tricycle) to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.”
The police had earlier confirmed the killing of the 65-year-old at the gate of her residence at 27, Oviawe Street, Off Upper Siluko Road, Ogida, Benin-City.
The incident was said to have happened at about 3p.m last Wednesday.
The Public Relations Officer, Edo State Police Command, DSP Osifo Abiodun, said the suspect is a teenage cultist and serial killer on police wanted list.

So everybody carries gun to kill innocent people to settle their score , what a shame 65 Years Old , Why do the stupid man have to do that , thank goodness the Police have full details about the guy , .
