A member of the House of Representatives for Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdussamad Dasuki, has distributed relief materials to victims of recent bandit attacks across 21 villages in Sokoto State.
Dasuki, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Attahiru Danmadi, visited displaced persons at camps in Kuchi (Kebbe LGA) and Jabo (Tambuwal LGA) on Monday, where he presented assorted food items and essentials.

The affected communities include Fakku, Sha’alwashi, Tulluwa, Bakin Dutsi, Sadu, Fedde, Garin Mai Dabo, Illela, and Rafin-Gora in Kuchi District, as well as Gesolodi, Hilya, Guraye, Guma, Chakai, Modo, Badariya, Tafki, Balera, Gudumawa, and Rafin Shinkafa in Jabo District.
The lawmaker assured the victims of continued support and pledged collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) for additional assistance. He also urged security agencies to intensify operations to curb the menace.
“This is an immediate intervention,” he said. “Going forward, you will continue to receive support to sustain your livelihoods in this difficult period.”
Items distributed included maize, millet, gari and groundnut cake, among others. Dasuki also condoled with families who lost relatives in the attacks.
