The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appealed to the people of South-West to vote massively for candidates of the party in Saturday’s election.
It urged residents of Ogun, Lagos and Oyo states to support APC candidates as well as Ondo, Ekiti and Osun residents to do same.
The call was made in a statement made available to newsmen in Akure, yesterday, by the party’s National Vice Chairman (South-West), Isaac Kekemeke.
The APC chieftain praised Nigerians from all regions for supporting Bola Tinubu to win the presidential election.
Kekemeke said that the South-West people would fully benefit from Tinubu’s presidency when they use their votes to install APC governors and state lawmakers in their respective states.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the president-elect to reduce the hardship in the country as a result of currency scarcity.
Kekemeke also called on the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) to create a level playing field for all candidates during the forthcoming polls.
The APC National Vice Chairman, therefore, challenged party members to maintain the momentum and canvass votes from all eligible voters in the nation to ensure the success of the party in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections.
He also expressed optimism that the APC would also triumph during the polls on Saturday.
