
The Minister for Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, and the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Dr. Mariya Mahmud, will lead a distinguished lineup of female leaders to receive the prestigious Inspire Her Awards at the upcoming Inspire Her Conference & Awards 2025.

Other recipients of the Inspire Her Awards are the Chief Executive Officer, Sun Trust Bank Halima Buba, the 2019 YPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Hajiya Umma Getso, the Executive Director NEXIM Bank, Hon. Stella Okotete, the Senior Special Assitant to the President of Women Affairs, Fatima Umar Farouk amongst other leaders.
In a statement by the Executive Director, Amb. Jeremiah Agala, and Co-Convener, Dr. Joy Franklyn Ekemezie, the Inspire Her Conference was described as a celebration of the excellence, innovation, resilience, and impact of African and Nigerian women.
Agala said: “This year’s edition will spotlight stories of courage and trailblazing achievements across sectors.”
He added that the 2025 conference will introduce the Inspire Her Fire Chat, a new interactive platform for deeper engagement.

The Inspire Her Conference & Awards is a prestigious Pan-African event, tailored for women and He4Shes from diverse sectors. It is designed to inspire, equip, empower, and mentor women to challenge the status quo, foster policy change, and invest in inclusive leadership for Africa’s progress, he said.

Organized by Inspiring Youths Africa Initiative & Magazine in partnership with Rest Logic Nigeria, the event will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action: Building Resilience,” will focus on critical areas such as leadership inclusion, human capital development, poverty eradication, gender equality, work-life balance, and inspiring the next generation of African women.
The conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions. Over 1,000 women are expected to attend, including high-level decision-makers, corporate leaders, youth advocates, students, and international participants.

Agala emphasized that attendance is strictly by registration due to limited slots and called on all interested individuals to register early.
