In a bid to redefine learning, educationist, Susan Garland has reiterated her commitment to educate and nurture the next generation. She has become a leading voice in early childhood education, celebrated for her creativity, resilience, and unwavering commitment to children’s development.

Her journey began in 2020 while still a college student, when she joined Teachwise Family Daycare Ltd, a family-run center renowned for its child-centered approach. Starting as an assistant childcare worker, Garland quickly distinguished herself with her passion and innovative approach to learning. Drawing from her background in stage acting, she infused classrooms with storytelling, drama, and play, transforming lessons into immersive experiences. Her methods not only educated but also instilled joy, confidence, and curiosity in the hearts of hundreds of children.

In recognition of her outstanding work, she was promoted in 2023 to Education Coordinator at Teachwise Family Daycare. In this leadership role, she continues to innovate, guiding the institution with compassion and purpose to remain a haven of learning for Nigeria’s youngest citizens.
With an MBA from the Swiss School of Management, she launched the Beyond Garland Initiative, an environmental campaign focused on tackling climate change in Nigeria.
