Taxaide Technologies Limited (Taxtech), a leading provider of technology-driven tax administration and compliance solutions, has announced the appointment of Stella Uchenna Emeka-Obi to its Board of Directors.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday, the Managing Director of Taxaide Technologies Limited, Bidemi Olumide, said Emeka-Obi’s appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and the highest standards of technology governance and cybersecurity.

Emeka-Obi is a seasoned Technology and Cybersecurity Executive with over two decades of experience leading transformative initiatives across the financial services, oil and gas, government, and consulting sectors.

A former Assistant Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), she played key roles in several landmark projects, including the establishment of the $12.5 million Nigeria Financial Industry Computer Emergency Response Team (ngCERT), the CBN’s first enterprise IT Disaster Recovery Programme, and the adoption of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework across Nigeria’s financial sector.

She also led ISO 27001 compliance efforts, pre-go-live risk assessments for national payment systems, and integrated cybersecurity threat intelligence initiatives that enhanced the resilience of Nigeria’s financial ecosystem.

Emeka-Obi holds an M.Sc. in Microprocessor & Control Engineering and a B.Sc. in Computer Science, along with numerous international certifications such as CCISO, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, PMP, COBIT 5, CSSBB, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. She also earned executive credentials from Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in cybersecurity policy, business analytics, and technology management.
