Theresa, breast cancer patient, needs N1million to remain alive

Mrs. Isaac Mngunongun Theresa (44) has called on good spirited Nigerians to help her with N1million needed for treatment to save her life from breast cancer.

Discovered in one of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Benue State, she was taken to the Nigerian Christian Hospital (NCH), Nlagu, Aba, where histology done on her shows she has cancer of the breast on her left breast.

According to reports released by the hospital, Mrs. Isaac would require six courses of chemo, each estimated at N35,000 and a surgery estimated at N250,000. Part of the money would be used for drugs and sundries.

Mrs. Isaac, who is among the displaced persons in the Benue-Fulani crisis, is currently in Lagos soliciting for help. She is in serious pains and at the verge of death if immediate action is not taken to ameliorate her condition.

She said: “It all started during the pregnancy of my fourth child. I thought it would be over after the birth of the child, but four years down I am now in pains, having sleepless nights.

“I would be very grateful if help could come immediate to save my life and help me take care of my only surviving child, who is about three years old.
