President Bola Tinubu has appointed Brigadier General Kunle Nafiu as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), replacing Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed.

Nafiu’s appointment is said to take effect immediately, but the presidency has not yet issued an official statement to confirm this development.

Before his appointment, Nafiu served as the Chief of Staff to Lt. General Olufemi Oluyede, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

He had previously held the same position under the late Lt. General Raised Abiodun Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff.
