Tinubu our new Awolowo, Balewa, says ex-Senator
•Says Atiku on political trade fair
The former Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Senator Binta Masi, has said that voting the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, as president will rekindle the hope of Nigerians of returning to the days of Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Tafawa Balewa, who, she said, were detribalised and visionary.
Binta, who spoke yesterday in Yola during the inauguration of her new campaign wing for Tinubu called Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (GICC), said only hope to return the country to Nigerians is to vote Tinubu.
Also speaking at the event, the GICC Director of Operations, Yusuf Jengwe, who described the campaign of former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as political trade fair rallies, said Atiku lack the capacity to win his home state Adamawa.
