Tinubu’s aide tackles El-Rufai over comment on APC
Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communication, has tackled Ahmad El-Rufai’s comment about the All Progressives Congress (APC).
El-Rufai, the former Kaduna State Governor and APC member, took to X on Tuesday to describe the news headline of a report published by Politics Nigeria on him as interesting but inaccurate.
He wrote, “Interesting but inaccurate headline – ‘Illiterates in leadership’ – El-Rufai slams APC, says party has abandoned its ideals.”
According to the report, the former governor accused the political party of abandoning its ideals and principles and also fostering poor leadership.

“You cannot afford to have illiterates, semi-illiterates, and cunning people as your leaders. This is why we end up with the poor leadership we have today,” the report quoted El-Rufai.
While responding to El-Rufai’s post on X, Bwala asked the former governor if he would have held the same opinion about the current administration if he were a part of it.
“My senior brother, if you were to be in the government and cabinet, would you have held and expressed the same position? History is replete with examples.
“It is a government you participated in its formation, that you now want to unseat. Haba, Mallam,” Bwala’s post read.
