Tosin Ladejobi named peace icon at Kigali Leadership Summit

Amb. Dr. Tosin Ladejobi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Toslad Group, has been named one of the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa* at the 2025 edition of the Leadership and Business Summit held in Kigali, Rwanda.

The summit, which ran from July 4 to 6, was convened by the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa initiative to honour individuals contributing significantly to peacebuilding, economic development, and leadership across the continent.

Ladejobi, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s real estate sector, was recognised for his contributions to urban development and community empowerment through real estate innovation. His firm, Toslad Group, is behind a number of residential and commercial projects across Abuja and other parts of Nigeria. The most recent is *Olumo Estate* in Apo Tafyi, Abuja, whose groundbreaking ceremony drew traditional leaders, investors, business figures, and well-wishers.

Commenting on the recognition, Ladejobi said the award affirms the role of real estate not just in infrastructure, but in job creation and community transformation. “Our goal has always been to create spaces that uplift lives, generate employment, and build sustainable cities,” he noted.

Beyond business, Ladejobi is known for his mentorship programmes, supporting young professionals interested in the real estate industry. His inclusion among the peace icons was seen as recognition of both his business acumen and his social impact.
