A Lexus Jeep (EKY 251 HW) carrying a 45-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman was struck by a falling 20-foot container from a moving Mack Trailer (BDG 513 XW).

Witnesses rushed to assist the trapped occupants before the arrival of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service personnel.

Remarkably, all three individuals – the driver of the trailer and the two occupants of the car – escaped the incident without injuries.

Following the rescue, the victims received trauma therapy to assess their well-being.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) swiftly cleared the wreckage from the highway, easing the significant traffic congestion caused by the accident.

The rescue operation was supported by Nigerian Police officers from the Ilasamaja and Aswani Divisions.
