Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs (AYE), a non-governmental organisation, has launched Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs Empowerment Nigeria (AYEEN), a platform created to identify, support and boost budding entrepreneurs and start-ups with the necessary resources to grow their businesses has since inception engaged over 10,000 entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and captains of industries.

AYE has economic network with her footprint in 19 African countries that focuses on building sustainable intra-trades by being the one-stop financial and social provider among African entrepreneurs.

The 2016 edition of AYEEN takes a quantum leap from previous editions in that it will be aired as a reality show on television to a broad spectrum of audience in Nigeria and Africa. The reality show will be an enlightening, informative, and entertaining programme that will bring to the fore various business opportunities by the participating entrepreneurs.

AYEEN 2016 opened the portal for registration since June for individuals with viable business ideas, start-ups and budding entrepreneurs to utilise the opportunity for access to funding, financial instruments, business equipment, business coaching, financial advisory and specialised skill training. AYEEN has created a niche for herself differentiating the program from other reality series as there is no stand-alone winner, rather 1,000 entrepreneurs will be empowered and showcased to Africa and the world.

AYEEN will offer young entrepreneurs aged 18- 45 years to pitch their ideas before a panel of international business experts projecting the solutions provided by the businesses and how economically viable they are in Nigeria. The regional screening and auditions will take place in the six Geo-political zones: Lagos, Calabar, Delta, Borno, Kaduna and Abuja starting in July.

This programme has received massive support from several state governments, government parastatals, entrepreneurial centres, corporates, media, private organisations, schools and others.

Nigeria, get ready as we set the mark for entrepreneurial development and economic enhancement as we create opportunities for job creation with the formation of new businesses by the empowered participants and cutting the unemployment rate by a margin.
