Umaru felicitates with senator Isa Mohammed at 75Former Military Governor of Kwara and Kano States, Air Vice Marshal Ndatsu Umaru (RTD) has felicitated with Senator Isa Mohammed, Wazirin Nupe on his 75th birthday.

AVM Umaru in a congratulatory message described Senator Mohammed as a bridge builder and a father to many.

He said the two-term Lawmaker (1999-2007) representing Niger South senatorial district (Zone A) is a great politician and a successful businessman, who contributed greatly to the growth and development of Nigeria and its Democracy.

“During your time at the Senate, you made outstanding achievements and contributions towards the development of Nigeria and your achievements are there for all to see.

“You have also assisted in improving the standard of living of many through your kind gestures especially to the less privileged and vulnerable in the society.  I therefore pray for more wisdom, good health and wealth for you as you continue to impact more lives” he stated.

Umaru commended Senator Mohammed on his efforts at ensuring that his constituents were not neglected during his time at the senate by attracting various constituency projects to the state.

“As you celebrate your birthday, may the Almighty bless you with happiness that never ends, may He grant you good health and guide and protect you always” he added.

Senator Isa Mohammed (born 1948) was elected to the Nigerian Senate to represent the Niger South (zone A) constituency in April 1999, and was re-elected in April 2003.

Born of Nupe origins, his father Alhaji Bagudu Waziri popularly called BCCC was a member of the Ibadan Municipal Council in the 1950s. Bagudu attended Ansarudeen College and was a director of NICON from 1991 to 1993.

Mohammed has nurtured and promoted several companies in Nigeria and has greatly assisted in the development of Kin Nupe.
