UNESCO to train 1.2m youths for entrepreneurship
No less than 1.2 million Nigerian Youths have been penciled down to benefit from the United Nations Education and Scientific Organisation (UNESCO) Read and Earn Federation Entrepreneurial Skills for the next 10 years.
Similarly, not less than 120,000 youths drawn from the National Youth Service Corps NYSC] Scheme, Youth-based organisations without skills and those from Medium Scale Enterprises have been listed as qualified for the yearly programme.
President, UNESCO Read, Earn Federation, Prince Abdulsalam Ladigbolu, at the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between the body and ABE yesterday in Abuja said the youths are to benefit from the programme in three identified critical areas of intellectual capacity, leadership capacity and economic capacity buildings.
