Why Buhari is yet to move into Aso Rock, by Shehu
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari would not be moving into the Aso Rock presidential palace until it is fully renovated, according to Malam Garba Shehu.
Shehu, who is Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity), told reporters at the Defence House yesterday that President Buhari is still staying in his rented apartment in Abuja pending the time the renovation is completed.
He said: “They claim some renovation was going on; the place is being cleaned up for his occupation. The contractors are probably working at their own pace. If I need to know or you need to know this, probably we have to talk to someone. I am not saying he’s comfortable where he is at his rented house, but he is operating from there at the moment and when the Villa is ready, he will move.”
On when the President would make public his ministerial list, Shehu hinted that it would be after the inauguration of the National Assembly on Friday in line with due process, adding: “I have no idea, but it is not something anybody will rush because you know that the National Assembly has to approve. When are you going to have the National Assembly in place? That is the question. Unless you are Governor Fayose, you can not take your ministerial list to the out-going parliament.”
It was learnt that President Buhari, who received various personalities at the Defence House yesterday, would hold a critical meeting with the country’s service chiefs today.

What have Gov Fayose got to do with this Mallam
to let u guys know that the era of impunity, recklessness of power, madness, oppression and political nuisance no longer have a place in public governance again. Fayose is a good example of the above abysmal qualities and it s high time u were aware that the change to sanity is ongoing
We will review and take appropriate action.
