Chairman of Ebeano political group in Enugu State, Emmanuel Okwor, said the group decided to fuse into the All Progressives Congress (APC) to enhance national cohesion.

Chairman of Ebeano political group in Enugu State, Emmanuel Okwor, said the group decided to fuse into the All Progressives Congress (APC) to enhance national cohesion.

Okwor, in statement, said the alliance with APC is to further consolidate the partnership with President-Elect, Bola Tinubu, to achieve good governance in the country.

On the level of consultations that preceded the decision, Okwor stated that all categories of leaders and members of Ebeano political family across the country were consulted.

Stating that the resolution was unanimous, Okwor, a loyalist of Chimaroke Nnamni, said all were in agreement with the alliance and believe it is in the interest of the people.

‘’The interest and welfare of the group will be better served under the APC structure in the country.

‘’Of course, you know the Ebeano political family was established since 1999, and has remained dominant political force in Enugu State,” Okwor said.
