PROMINENT indigenes of the Tiv nation must set aside parochial differences and unite to promote their common national identity, renowned psychologist, Mr. Moses Uke, has said.
Speaking in an interview with The Guardian, recently, Uke said divisive tendencies among Tiv elites have, in no small measure, impeded their advancement even as they rank as the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria. He stated that there is need for a declaration among the elites that would contain ideals of equality, which is one of hallmarks of the Tiv nation.
