Poland said that it would not send its soldiers to Ukraine, but would support the countries that do so, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Monday.

“There are a lot of speculations and speculations about whether there will be a conversation in Paris about who, when, and whether they are ready to send their troops to Ukraine at all.

“If we are talking about support from Poland, then I believe that the issue has been resolved.

“Poland will continue to support Ukraine with organizational, humanitarian and military assistance. We do not envisage sending our soldiers to the territory of Ukraine.

“At the same time, we will provide logistical and political support to those countries that want to give Ukraine such guarantees,’’ Tusk told reporters.

Tusk said this ahead of his flight to Paris to attend an emergency European Union summit.
