Fear may have gripped the Umuogboagu community in Enugu-Ezike Igboeze North Council of Enugu State, following the mysterious death of one Ikechukwu Odo, who recently contested in the state’s House of Assembly election.

It was learnt that Eze, who on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was the second politician to die of unknown cause in the area.

The first casualty, The Guardian learnt was Mike Ida, who became the local council Chairman for Igboeze North, but died after he was stung by a bee.

Sources said that, since the death of Ida, politicians from the community have refused to hid to calls to contest elections, until the last general election, in which Odo volunteered to run, but ended up dying after the process.
