Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth caucus from the South-East yesterday stormed the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to protest against the withholding of Governor Rochas Okorocha’s certificate of return by the commission.
In a letter of protest dated May 22, 2019 and addressed to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and signed by South-East Zonal Youth Leader of the party, Olisaemeka Onyeka and some executives of the caucus, urged the commission to reconsider its decision so as not to fuel tension in the state.
