A non-profit organization, Ehimore Unity Foundation, on Sunday, fed over 300 children in the IDU community of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, saying that the Christmas season is for sharing and loving.
The initiative by the Foundation is undoubtedly a welcome development, especially during a period when many people are struggling to make ends meet due to the economic impact in Nigeria’s.
Addressing newsmen while presenting the items, founder of the foundation, Okoli Ehizemen Nora, stated that their mission is to cater to the needs of children.

Nora expressed gratitude to the volunteers who made the feeding program possible and called for government support to do even more in other societies.
She said: “Loving your people around it’s beyond is your security personnel, your office, the people around, try and love them, your housekeepers, everybody.
“It’s not just going to a community but let it start from your home. It starts with just a security mother opening your gate every morning. unlocked your gate every night.”
She said that the foundation’s dedication to helping children and providing aid to those in need is heartening, and they hope to see more organizations follow their lead.
Nora added, “Today’s program, being Christmas, is the season for sharing and loving. So the beauty of Christmas is about sharing. And that’s why I named the team the beauty of Christmas.
“It’s about giving out a lot of people with the way the country is due to not having the means, but with the little they will have today from this program will put a smile on their face will make them feel loved and welcomed will make them feel they are part of what is happening in the society.
“Regardless of whatever it is, they will still be able to have a meal today for themselves, have a bottle of drink for themselves, have some materials for themselves, and that will give them happiness and joy for Christmas.”
