[And when it became fashionable to curse and reject the PDP in the face of new power dynamics, Nnamani, who cut his political teeth using the PDP platform, did so and with a dose of theatrics too. Instead of just walking away quietly, he called a press conference to announce he was taking a ‘political sabbatical’ to engage in other areas of nation building. True to his promise, there is now the Nnamani Centre for Leadership and Development. Before his latest job as the man to correct Justice Uwais, he had embarked on some high profile shuttles to APC strongholds, including Aso Rock to hold court with the President.
Perhaps, it is this new leadership toga since parting ways with the PDP that highly recommended Nnamani for the assignment. Nigerians are waiting to see the difference that will be made. For now, what is clear to everybody is the complete lack of purpose in Aso Rock. The same Buhari who would not touch the 2014 confab report because the alleged N9 billion spent to stage the conference to discuss Nigeria’s way forward was misplaced at a time university teachers were on strike on account of government’s poor funding of tertiary education, has found compelling reasons to contract 24 people to discuss what has been duly settled and at a time about 30 out of the 36 states cannot pay salaries of workers.

In fact, instead of Abubakar Malami, the Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal should be doing the explanation. He, it was who described the 2014 Confab jointly headed by retired Justice Legbo Kutigi and former external affairs minister, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi as “job for the boys (of Jonathan)” I do not know what he intends to call this one, but however he puts it, his description will help many Nigerians who are still confused to make some sense out of the Nnamani committee.]

What an observation and a critique particularly in the last paragraph, folks! Surely there are other more pressing problems in Nigeria than the assignment of this new Ad-Hoc – I mean if Mr. Malami had urged for the defection and cross carpet section left open-ended in the Constitution to be block-up to stop the actions (activities) of the unscrupulous Nigerians to
flout the provision of electoral problems and condition rather than this (another) extensive expenditure again in pretext for the desirable continuity of the reforms, because you’re definitely going to have a ‘bigger’ problem by 2019 if nothing is done to that section in time and, if Buhari’s administration fail to deliver to the expectations of the people – I recon there could be a bigger drift among the so-called ‘floating politicians’ in your politics!

The present policy direction appears to me to be more about ‘Jack-of-all-trading’ not aimed at consolidation for that continuity purpose as observed in this article! Surprising that Alhaji Lai Muhammed came up with a new thing ‘scare’ thus: “Economy Gone Out of Buhari’s Control, Says Lai Mohammed!” and I am wondering when was the economy under the control of Buahari’s and not under the control of the ‘Kitchen Cabinet’, folks?

Somebody should advise Buhari to consider the recommendations of the Confab and see how much restructuring will help growth in Nigeria than these make-shift proposals so as to find same jobs for the boys! It seems they are pretending to talk about cutting back and on the other finding loop holes where they can provide perquisites for their friends – Nigeria in the same quagmire – still in that QUANDARY afflicting even the PhD holders! They should show Buhari my correspondence of 4th June 2015 and he picks areas Nigerians need something done so as to repair the damages done to the system in Nigeria, folks!

I said it earlier that president M. Buhari is acting as a Nigerian coming home from exile therefore, he appears to be beguiled by cohorts found in APC! I’ll urge to cast your mind back to the qualities of the renditions of the reviewers of the book on Buhari’s and think iof you had people like Prof. I Gambari caliber in government or in the NASS for Nigeria what Big Change you might assuredly have about Nigeria! So if the new Ad-Hoc will bring about a possibility for these kinds to return to Nigerian politics I will accept its establishment other than that it should be considered part of the conduits for the squander-mania Buhari’s administration is fighting against!

LET MY STRESS OR INFORM HERE THAT Sen. KEN NNAMANI HAS COPY OF MY BOOK “How to get at your government and influence it!” handed to him in London 2005 not paid for yet! You’ll see almost all that you need for Nigeria in that book; log onto: http://www.virgo-enterprised.com and have a closer read of the contents of the Icon then tell me what you see! Like Lai Mujammed in my letter dated 4th June 2005, Senator Ken Nnamani might be expounding or already has formulated new ‘mantra’ from that book’s content! I wait to read the communique to be submitted – am told that my book is regarded as a ‘repository’ now in Nigeria, folks!
