pdp-apc- 1.01.10 PMAHEAD of the Saturday governorship election in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has admonished the incumbent governor and candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Idris Wada to stand on his party’s face-value and that of their members, rather than hiding under the canopy of President Muhammadu Buahri, who has been universally acknowledged as a man of integrity.

In a statement yesterday, the head, Media and Publicity, Audu/Faleke Campaign Organisation, Dr. Tom Ohikere, faulted the PDP and its candidate for adorning all parts of the state capital with posters bearing the image of the President Buhari.

According to the APC, “The PDP lacks any capable personality it can use as anchor for their campaign.

It is laughable that a party, which claimed few months ago to be the largest political party in Africa, cannot find a single person that they can use as an anchor for their campaigns, thereby using the credibility of President Buhari, the father of our change message as pillar.”

The party also urged the ruling PDP to stop raising issues where none exists against its candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, as it challenged the incumbent and his media handlers to come out and tell the masses in Kogi State what they can do for them rather than hiding under unnecessary sentiments and falsehood.

It however admonished the PDP to look for the picture of former President Goodluck Jonathan and use as the face of Wada campaign, rather than that of President Buhari.
