Chairmanship aspirant pledges good governance in Ejigbo LCDA

Ojokoro LCDA aspirant, Ajibola Larinde, emerges youngest candidate among 432
A local council chairmanship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Habeeb Anibaba, has assured residents of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of dividends of democracy through improved governance at the grassroots level.

This is as the Professionals and Marketers Association (PMA) of Ejigbo assured him of full support.

Anibaba, while speaking during his declaration of interest for the chairmanship position of Ejigbo LCDA, emphasised his commitment to serving the people of Ejigbo.

He promised to uphold transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in governance, as well as work towards building a brighter future for Ejigbo.

ALSO, a chairmanship aspirant, Ajibola Sulaiman Larinde, who is the youngest among the candidates for the forthcoming party’s primaries, has pledged to leverage innovation and purposeful leadership to elevate Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The 31-year-old politician also strongly urged the party’s delegates to the primaries to embrace inclusivity by giving the youth a chance.

He also urged them to align with his people-oriented manifesto to accelerate development in the council.

Larinde, who is the youngest candidate among the 432 aspirants cleared by the party for the primaries, spoke while unveiling his eight-point manifesto for the media, stakeholders and supporters at his campaign secretariat in his wards.

He said, “This is not just another election. It’s a chance to choose fresh ideas, proven capacity, and true grassroots love. I’m not a stranger to you—I grew up here, I work for Lagos, and I’m ready to work for Ojokoro. Together, we can create jobs, fix roads, support businesses, and build a future that works for everyone.”
