Ebonyi SDP guber candidate vows to revive education
Ebonyi State Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Chibueze Agbo, said his government would focus on five cardinal areas including education, health, security, agriculture, youth and women empowerment, if elected governor.
Agbo in a chat with journalists in Abakaliki said he was a versatile politician with requisite knowledge and leadership experience to deliver democracy dividends to Ebonyi people.
He promised to revive education, health, security, agriculture, youth and woman empowerment, noting that if elected, he would run a participatory government where every Ebonyi indigene would be allowed to contribute towards moving the state forward.
Seeking votes from Ebonyi electorate, the SDP gubernatorial candidate, a former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), explained that he was in the race to champion the cause of repositioning the state for the good and wellbeing of the citizenry.
“I am sincerely offering myself for your indispensable support, as we make our vision, mission and our dream a reality by forming the next government of the state, where I shall serve you as governor.
On why he left APC, Agbo, who is also a former Commissioner of Education under Governor Martin Elechi’s administration, added that his decision to quit APC was informed by injustice and lack of internal party democracy in the party.
